Pachner & Associates, LLC will be attending the 2020 virtual Wilderness Risk Management Conference from Wednesday, October 14 through Friday, October 23, 2020. While we will be able to selectively enroll in sessions from our office (much less intensive than traveling to the meetings!) we may be unavailable at times for an hour or two. If you are unable to reach us, please leave a voice mail message or send an email, and we will return your call when we finish the session. We are proud to be a supporter of the Jim Ratz Memorial Scholarship Fund for the event. Please keep an eye out for Don Pachner and David LeClair, if you enroll in one of the sessions we attend!

Our usual holiday card cannot be mailed this season due to a balky office printer, so we are distributing it over the internet this year.  I apologize for this, and had hoped that our new photovoltaic solar arrays would provide the power to our color laser printer this year…but perhaps the internet is a more carbon neutral medium while we can all still access it equally.  Wishing a happy, healthy and successful 2018 to all our customers around the U.S. and the world, and may you find some time for peaceful enjoyment or study of the natural world and some time to protect it…as Thoreau once wrote, “in wildness is the preservation of the world“.
